Why single cable is better than dual cable when extending signal? |
For any dual cable installation, in addition to cable, connector and labor cost doubling, the reliability, support and service issues become critical. What if one cable was broken or swapped or not connected? So would it not make sense to go with single cable solution. |

If given an option of HDMI, DVI, VGA and Component video output by different digital signage players or company, which option is better? |
First factor is to make sure that chosen signal and connector is acceptable to the display. Second check the distance between source and display and last is the native resolution of the display vs. supported resolution of the digital signage player. With HDMI leading the growth out of all four choices, most preferred is HDMI and then DVI with VGA following it. |
